Write down ten characters from any fandom/medium that you wish. Multiple ones are fine btw. And answer the questions below.
My character list from TV only, because I am not good at following instructions:

The questions and answers:
1.) #3 (Maryanne) and #4 (Zhaan) are at a sporting event and get caught on the jumbo screen for everybody to see them. What are they doing at the moment? How does each react to being filmed?
Not a clue what Zhaan is doing and a sporting event and can't see them being the kind of characters that would be friends. Maryanne would be thrilled to be on TV though. Thrilled. She would pose nicely.
2.) #2 (Jarod) has one extra ticket to a concert, who will s/he invite: #6 (Suzanne) or #9 (Pacey)? How does the one not picked feel?
No. Not a clue. Probably Pacey as I don't think he could pretend well enough to be around Suzanne. Suzanne would be relieved, as Jarod's family isn't well enough known (at all infact).
3.) #5 (Dr Who): how do they like their eggs cooked? And what item must they have with their breakfast?
Depends on which regeneration. The current one is a omelet type I think, and probably bacon.
4.) #6 (Suzanne) and #1 (Kyle) were set up on a blind date. How does it go? Was it a love connection?
Surprisingly well. The ended up shooting random things. Kyle was impressed with the gun rack in her Mercedes. Love? Perhaps. Quirky friendship, absolutely!
5.) #9 (Pacey) tries out for American Idol (or whatever country they are from) how does the audition go?
No, it goes badly. He isn't a first impression kind of person, which you need to be for that kind of audition.
6.) #2 (Jarod), #8 (Ms Parker), and #10 (The Director) form a superhero group. What do they call this group?
Now this show I would pay good money to see. The Director and Ms Parker would get along famously and poor Jarod would spend all his time trying to keep them under control while they dealt out their own unique brand of justice. The name would be along the lines of Team Inappropriate, though better.
7.) #7 (Bailey) is asked to give a two sentence speech to be broadcast live around the world about a social issue important to them. What is said in the speech?
He would freeze and stutter out something completely incomprehensible. As much as I am a Bailey fan, he wouldn't cope under those conditions.
8.) #1 (Kyle) and #5 (Dr Who) are taking a road trip together. Where are they going? Who asks for directions when are lost? How do they get along throughout the trip?
The Doctor doesn't ask for directions, he revels in being lost. Kyle ends up asking. They don't get along at all well though, Kyle wants to take direct action in everything, and the Doctor doesn't. They don't even end up getting to their destination - which as the Doctor is there, has to be London.
9.) #8 (Ms Parker), #7 (Bailey), and #3 (Maryanne) just won the lottery! How will they spilt the winnings? What does each do with their share?
Ms Parker doesn't need the money, she ensures that Debbies education (etc) is well provided for and invests the rest safely. Bailey buys the family all sorts of things. Maryanne has more money than she can deal with, so not a clue.
10.) #4 (Zhaan) and #10 (The Director) are competing in a duel to the death. What type of weapons do they use? Who wins? And what made them duel in the first place?
Not a clue. Silly combination. Zhaan would win if she decided to fight as her technology is so much better in her universe.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, boys and astrogirls, is how the game should be played.
13 consecutive games against the number 6 player in the world. And he didn't need to moan at a ball boy or argue with the umpire.
Now lets hope he continues to play that well. He has been erratic for the last 18 months.

You had a four setter. Hardly earth shattering. Its your duty as a professional athlete to be fit and to be able to recover. So you whine and quit. Well done.
Murray and Djokovic aren't really good at setting examples.

Murray lost while shouting, temper tantrums etc. How apt. Only a few days ago he was telling us that he is ready to face Federer & Nadal in the majors, now he can't get far enough in the tournament to do just that. So he mutters at the umpire, shouts at ballkids etc. How very mature. It takes more than a good game to be a champion, but then he seems the kind of idiot that wouldn't understand that. Federer & Nadal, to their credit, always have.

Ok - so we now know who the new Doctor is. Companion = obviously female. Rosita would be nice. Liked her.
So who/what do we want to see for the new series. My list is very easy:
1) Want to know what has happened to Jenny. I don't think she would be a good companion though. But a 2 episode program with Jenny would be great.
2) The Master. What happened? Where is he, what is he up to?
3) The Daleks. A given, the Doctor isn't the Doctor without having at least one of them shout 'Exterminate' desperately at him all season. How many times can they be killed off and miraculously return though. Not so sure they need to bring Davros with them though, he was tiresome. Dalek Caan would be an interesting companion for a single episode but no more than that.
4) More on the time war.
5) Another Captain Jack episode. I like Captain Jack and am very sure he will have lots to say about the BabyDoctor.
6) River Song. Enough said.
So - what will we see. Not all of that for sure. I think we will have to wait a while for Jenny & River Song. I also think that Dalek Caan is gone, but the Daleks will surely make an appearance. Perhaps not in the next full series, but certainly in the one thereafter. The Master I hope we shall see soon, but was not seen that often in ClassicWho, so perhaps I am hoping for too much.

8:20 am - Who rambling.
|
Have just seen Baby Who in video for the first time (on the BBC website). He seems to be quite a good choice for Who. Though he needs a haircut. I think he will be a more serious Who than we have gotten used to in the last years. While its a good thing in general I shall miss my shiny happy Who10. Though Who5 was the best of them all in my opinion.
All in all think he will be good. Have really enjoyed NewWho in general. On average its been well written and well acted. Lets hope they carry on the tradition.

It also predicts that Martha Jones would become a Torchwood regular and that Captain Jack's role would be reduced.
Well, if thats the case count me out. Captain Jack is the only thing thats vaguely interesting in Torchwood. I can't even cope with Dr-Lite Who episodes that have better companions and more interesting storylines. Jack-Lite episodes would be very dreary.
Gwen is a horrible, squeely, self absorbed (for no reason), graceless thing. Rhys (sp?) is even worse.
Ianto is interesting I have to agree. But we never see much of him.
The dead ones - one dimensional and better of dead.
The fact is that as much as I dislike Martha (not very much, just she isn't as nice as Rose), I am looking forward to her returning. What the world really needs, is a Doctor. Or a Master. Or even Dalek Sec. Someone/something with charisma.

There was a Buster Keaton biography on TV tonight. I got to sound intelligent as I knew exactly whom he was due to Kixxa's fixation. When I pointed out to the others that it was due to someone I know online who has killed D'Argo for me a few times they did look at me blankly though. So I lost whatever points for general knowledge that I had just won!

Was quietly sitting at home and not working rather than sitting at the office and working due to illness, well not the illness part, which doesn't worry me much, but the drugs the nice doctor prescribed which make any work done short on consistency or accuracy but long on lunacy. Oh, got sidetracked. So I turned on the TV to discover it was Supernatural, which, if you don't know, is the show about the very friendly brothers touring the USA killing demons (they haven't gotten to the White House yet unfortunately). This was a rerun of S03E02 where Dean (who has nice hair) is disappointed that a sundry kid isn't his. Shaggy haired ummm mmm (googles) Sam (sorry not really a fan of the show) didn't feature much thankfully apart from discovering a friendly demon who likes him.
All in all it was quite entertaining. OK - thats the end of the recap.
